Blades
Bladebaits are
year round fish producers, too, the lure of first choice for
many anglers in rivers during early spring. Ask Wally Mosier
and Phil Caldwell of Gresham, Oregon, who dominated last year's
Columbia river Walleye Circuit With Bladebaits (Hedon Sonars
and Silver Buddy) . They placed in nine of nine tournaments,
claimed team of the year, and won the championship on Bladebaits.
Blades also frequently out fish all other presentations for coaxing
pre-spawn males as they begin to gather on lake Erie reefs
just after ice-out.
Each Blade design produces a different pattern, from the slight
vibration of the 1/4 oz. Cordell Gay Blade to the dramatic
vibes of the 2 1/2 oz. Bullet Blade and the 3/4 oz. Reef
Runner Cicada. Vibrations from the Heddon Sonar and the Silver
Buddy fall in between.
